Clik n Fix (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through our mobile application and website (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Clik n Fix.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect and store the following information from users (“you”):

  • Personal and Contact Information: Full name, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender, and account login details. Identity documents (such as Emirates ID and driving license) — required only for verification during specific service requests (e.g., Smart Key services).
  • Vehicle Information: Vehicle brand, make, model, and registration number. Uploaded photos of the vehicle or the issue (e.g., damaged parts, keys, etc.).
  • Payment Information: Payment data is securely processed via Stripe, our third-party payment gateway. We do not store any credit or debit card information on our servers.
  • Usage Information: App activity, service requests, and interactions with vendors. Device and log information (browser type, IP address, session time).

2. How We Use the Information

  • To match customer service requests with relevant vendors.
  • To verify user identity for service authenticity.
  • To process payments and generate invoices.
  • To facilitate communication between users and vendors.
  • To improve app performance, security, and customer experience.
  • To comply with UAE legal and tax requirements (e.g., VAT compliance).

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We share information only as needed:

  • With Vendors/Workshops: When a customer confirms a service request and completes payment, we share both parties’ names and contact details for coordination.

  • With Legal Authorities: Only when required to comply with UAE laws or official investigations.

We never sell or rent user data to any third party.

4. Data Retention Policy

  • We retain your personal and service data as long as your account is active or as required by law (e.g., VAT and financial records).
  • If you delete your account, we remove personal data except for information we are legally required to retain (such as invoices and payment logs).
  • Uploaded images and documents are deleted from our servers after account deletion.

5. User Rights

  • Access or edit your profile information anytime from your dashboard.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data by requesting in-App “Delete My Account.”

6. Children’s Privacy

Clik n Fix is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or store information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

7. Invoicing, VAT & Commission

  • Vendors are responsible for generating and uploading VAT-compliant invoices for each completed service.
  • Our commission and internal financial arrangements with vendors remain confidential.
  • VAT (if applicable) is applied only to vendor-generated invoices as per UAE tax laws.

8. Data Security

We take data protection seriously and implement appropriate measures such as:

  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for data transmission.
  • Role-based access control within the admin system.
  • Encrypted storage for sensitive data (IDs, licenses).
  • Regular security audits and data access monitoring.

Despite these measures, no online system is entirely risk-free. We are not responsible for risks arising from the use of unsecured networks (e.g., public Wi-Fi).

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make significant changes, users will be notified via email or app notifications. The latest version will always be available within the app and on our website.
